CALCULUS PATH · LEGAL

Privacy Policy

Calculus Path is designed to help you practise mathematics without creating an account or sending your learning history to the developer.

Effective 4 September 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the Calculus Path iOS application (“Calculus Path”, “the app”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles information. The current version of Calculus Path does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information, contact information, precise location, financial information, health information, identifiers, usage data or diagnostic data through the app.

Learning progress stored on your device

The app stores information such as lesson completion, mastery, XP, streaks, review items and reminder preferences locally on your device. This information is used only to provide the app’s learning and progress features. It is not transmitted to us.

Because this information remains on your device, we cannot view, recover or delete it remotely. You may remove it by using any reset option provided in the app or by deleting the app. Deleting the app may permanently erase your saved progress.

Notifications

If you choose to enable practice reminders, Calculus Path asks for notification permission and schedules reminders locally through iOS. Notifications are optional and may be disabled at any time in your device settings. The app does not use a remote push-notification service and we do not receive a device token.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

The current version of Calculus Path does not include third-party advertising, cross-app tracking or analytics services. We do not sell information or use information for targeted advertising.

Third-party links

The app or its support pages may contain links that open your email application, browser or an external website. Information you provide to those services is governed by their respective privacy policies and practices.

Children’s privacy

Calculus Path is an educational application and does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users. If you believe information has been provided to us outside the app, please contact us so we can address the matter.

Data security

Calculus Path minimizes privacy risk by keeping learning progress on the user’s device and not operating a developer-controlled user database. You remain responsible for protecting access to your device.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app’s features or information practices change. Any updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. If a future version introduces accounts, analytics, cloud synchronization, advertising or other data collection, this policy and the app’s App Store privacy disclosures will be updated accordingly.
